Are bots gone? Do they still work?

I used to make bots. I had around 50. I was a huge botter back when not many people knew what it was therefore it had a better effect on the penguins in the room. I recently attempted to start again. Any script I run it either opens and closes in a split second or you can fill out the information and when it "Connects" it closes the window and the bot does not connect. I also recently joined this forum and realized there has been little to no activity here. So I'm wondering can you still make bots? Its all very weird when you search for example "Club Penguin Bots 2011" You get little to nothing and it is usually old bot scripts and how to's from a while back and you find one post from 2011 that was from early 2011 that doesnt work anymore. I know Club Penguin is constantly battling bots but please don't tell me that they have won!

well i got php working i don't know about perl.....

Can you send me a link of a working how to for php? And when did you get php to work.
What script and where can i download it?

Its not that club penguin has won the on-going war on bots, they just have the upper hand right now and they updated a bunch of stuff. I don't know when Perl will start working again but i know that it will get fixed.

Okay, I've got the latest version of PHP (I had no idea that they updated it)
But I've completely forgot how to run PHP with a script.

I've worked it out, yay!
I normally create parties with the bots, everyone joins in.
